two more Supers for...

for Obama confirmed this morning by DemConWatch.

Barbara Flynn Currie (IL) and Todd Stroger (IL).

This now brings their superdelegate Clinton lead to only 15.5 supers. By far the lowest tally of the entire contest. Obama is down 14 supers by CNN's count and 15 according to the AP.

If you tally in the Pelosi club, the lead is down to 8.5 supers according to DCW.

Since PA, Obama has gained 23 supers to Clinton's 15.

NBC has Clinton up 19 supers which is her best showing.

Re: two more Supers for... (none / 0)

weren't these known last time when all the add-on delegates from IL were added?

Yes (none / 0)

Demconwatch wouldn't add them until they had confirmation that they were supporting Obama.  They had never actually publicly endorsed him before.  (I looked yesterday when I saw that and to my amazement could not find any sources documenting an actual endorsement.  So I guess they did this morning.)

Re: Yes (none / 0)

But we had already acknowledged this few days back. Someone is getting news slow or it's a pattern of releasing old names multiple times:-)

Re: Yes (none / 0)

If these are a "re-releases," then how is it that Clinton's superdelegate lead is shrinking as a result?

Re: Yes (2.00 / 1)

DCW hadn't counted them until today.

Whether they're "rereleases" isn't the point. The point is that they're "official" today and Hillary is now 2 more delegates down.

Re: Yes (none / 0)

the whole premise of re-release is that she is not down at all ;)
